The Boundary Waters is public land meant to be enjoyed by military veterans and their families. However, the BWCA is being threatened by toxic sulfide-ore copper mining.

Coming home, many veterans struggle to find a place where they can feel safe and at peace. However, there are still places that provide this feeling of peace and the Boundary Waters is one of them.

Sign the Petition to help save the Boundary Waters from proposed sulfide-ore copper mining for future generations of veterans and their families.

The Boundary Waters is under threat from dangerous

sulfide-ore copper mining proposed on the edge of the Wilderness.

Veterans for the Boundary Waters works to protect this Wilderness so future generations of veterans can enjoy the public lands they fought to protect.

Military veterans put their lives on the line to defend the fundamental freedoms of our country. For both the veterans adjusting to civilian life upon returning home, and the military men and women hoping to raise their children with the same outdoor experiences they had, the Boundary Waters is an important place for all veterans.

Tragically, this place is now under threat from dangerous sulfide-ore copper mining proposed on the edge of the Wilderness. Veterans for the Boundary Waters works to protect this Wilderness so future generations of veterans can enjoy the public lands they fought to protect.

These brave men and women fought for our country, help us give back by protecting the Wilderness enjoyed by countless generations of veterans and their families.
